The full CSS is always included in a \u003Ccode\u003E\u0026lt;style\u0026gt;\u003C/code\u003E tag of the HTML body of your email, but DailyStory will also attempt to inline CSS rules as well. You can preview an email and view the source to see what the fully merged HTML of the email will look like.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Ccite class=\u0022recommended\u0022\u003E\u003Cspan class=\u0022title\u0022\u003ERecommended\u003C/span\u003E\u003Cp\u003EDailyStory will not attempt to merge the CSS/HTML of an email that is entered in as HTML. It will be sent unmodified.\u003C/p\u003E\u003C/cite\u003E\u003Cp\u003EEmails support both inline \u0026lt;style\u0026gt; sheets within the HTML body of your email, but also allows editing additional styles that are appended to the inline \u0026lt;style\u0026gt;. The separate CSS in the Edit CSS may be edited without modifying the HTML and won\u0027t interfere with emails built in the designer.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Ch2 id=\u0022editing_the_plain_text\u0022\u003EEditing the Plain Text\u003C/h2\u003E\u003Cp\u003EEmails sent by DailyStory always include both an HTML version and a \u003Ca href=\u0022https://www.dailystory.com/blog/plain-text-email/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EPlain Text version\u003C/a\u003E.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe plain text of the email is edited from the HTML Editor\u0027s \u0022Edit Plain Text\u0022 tab. If not provided, DailyStory will attempt to automatically generate a plain text version of your content when the email is sent.
