If anything is wrong, DailyStory lists every problem and doesn\u0027t create the email, so you never end up with a half-working email in your account. This article explains how to fix those problems. Upload it, or paste it, in the Build with Claude window and click \u003Cb\u003ECreate email\u003C/b\u003E again.\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ol\u003E\u003Cp\u003EEach problem says where it is, for example \u003Ccode\u003Econtainer[1] \u0026gt; column[0] \u0026gt; Button\u003C/code\u003E, which means the button in the second row of the email. Claude uses this to find and fix the right part of the email.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Ch2 id=\u0022common_problems\u0022\u003ECommon problems\u003C/h2\u003E\u003Ch3 id=\u0022only_email_rows_are_allowed_at_the_top_level\u0022\u003E\u0022Only email rows are allowed at the top level\u0022\u003C/h3\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe file isn\u0027t a DailyStory email design. This usually means Claude wrote an ordinary HTML email without using the DailyStory email skill. Check the skill is installed and turned on in Claude, then ask Claude to \u003Ci\u003E\u0022rebuild this email using the DailyStory email skill.\u0022\u003C/i\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Ch3 id=\u0022andlthtmlandgt_is_not_allowed_or_andltstyleandgt_is_not_allowed\u0022\u003E\u0022\u0026lt;html\u0026gt; is not allowed\u0022 or \u0022\u0026lt;style\u0026gt; is not allowed\u0022\u003C/h3\u003E\u003Cp\u003EClaude produced a complete web page instead of a DailyStory design. Ask Claude to use the DailyStory email skill and to give you only the email rows, with styles inline.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Ch3 id=\u0022a_button_needs_a_real_href\u0022\u003E\u0022A button needs a real href\u0022\u003C/h3\u003E\u003Cp\u003EA button has no link, or links to \u003Ccode\u003E#\u003C/code\u003E. Tell Claude where the button should go, or ask it to use your website address.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Ch3 id=\u0022an_image_needs_a_src_url\u0022\u003E\u0022An image needs a src URL\u0022\u003C/h3\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAn image has no picture. Give Claude the web address of the image, for example one copied from your File Manager.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Ch3 id=\u0022the_footer_must_include_an_unsubscribe_link\u0022\u003E\u0022The footer must include an unsubscribe link\u0022\u003C/h3\u003E\u003Cp\u003EEvery DailyStory email needs an unsubscribe link to comply with anti-spam law. Ask Claude to use the standard DailyStory footer. Add them in the Email Designer. Pasting an email from Claude there removes the information the designer needs to recognize its widgets, and the email can\u0027t be edited in the designer afterwards.
