Import and Export Campaigns

DailyStory supports importing and exporting individual assets, such as emails. But it also supports importing and exporting of complete campaigns as well.

Exporting a Campaign

When viewing a campaign Export Campaign is found on the left-side menu under Import / Export:

Clicking Export Campaign will download a file with the name of the campaign and the extension gzip. For example, a campaign called "Spring Sale" will be downloaded as Spring Sale.gzip.

Warning

The exported file is encrypted and the contents cannot be edited.

The exported campaign currently includes:

Automations
Emails
Text Messages
Segments
Popups
Web Forms
Magic Forms
Tags

Polls

Importing a Campaign

To import a campaign, navigate to the All Campaigns page and on the left menu select Import Campaign.

This opens a popup to select a file. Select a .gzip file, such as Spring Sale.gzip, and the import process will begin.

Once the import is complete the browser is redirected to the new campaign.

Important

It's important to review the imported campaign and associated assets and automations. While we do are best to rebuild automations, it's always best to verify them.
