    Tixr integration

Tixr is an event commerce and ticketing platform that specializes in handling large-scale events, festivals, and venue management.

DailyStory’s integration with Tixr enables events, fans, and orders created in Tixr to be accessible in DailyStory’s events integration, associates fans with those events, and enables automations related to event attendance.

    How to add Tixr integration

To enable Tixr integration you will need to obtain a Client Partner Key and Private Key from Tixr.

    1. Sign in to DailyStory and navigate to Account Settings > Integrations > Event Management.
    2. Click on the Tixr name or click the gear icon and select “configure”:
    1. Enter your Tixr Client Partner Key and Private Key and click Save

    Sync Tixr Events

When Tixr integration is enabled, DailyStory runs an initial sync to bring over events. The sync runs daily at 9:30 AM UTC. On each subsequent run, only events modified since the last sync are processed. If an event’s title, URL, dates, venue, city, region, or thumbnail changes in Tixr, DailyStory will update the corresponding event automatically.

A dedicated segment is automatically created in DailyStory for each Tixr event. Contacts (fans) associated with an event are added to that event’s segment, making it easy to target attendees with automations and campaigns.

    Synced Contacts

Fan records from Tixr are synced to DailyStory contacts daily at 9:30 AM UTC. Contacts are matched by email address — if a contact with the same email already exists in DailyStory, it is updated rather than duplicated. Standard contact fields such as first name, last name, birth date, and gender are brought over, along with Tixr-specific extended fields.

    All Tixr fields

In addition to standard contact fields, the Tixr integration adds the following extended fields:

    Field NameDescription
Overall SpendThe total amount spent across all Tixr purchases. Available in personalization as: profile.tixr_overall_spend.
Tickets PurchasedThe total number of tickets purchased. Available in personalization as: profile.tixr_tickets_purchased.
Last PurchaseThe date of the fan’s most recent purchase. Available in personalization as: profile.tixr_tickets_last_purchase.
GenderThe fan’s gender as recorded in Tixr (Male or Female). Mapped to the standard DailyStory contact gender field.
Birth DateThe fan’s date of birth from Tixr. Mapped to the standard DailyStory contact birth date field.

    Synced Orders

Order line items from Tixr are stored as picklist values on the contact record in DailyStory. Each item is recorded with a friendly name in the format {Event Name} ({Year}) - {Item Name}, for example: Summer Festival (2025) - General Admission.

These picklist values can be used in segmentation filters and automation triggers to target contacts based on the specific tickets or products they have purchased.
