Archiving and Restoring Archived Segments

Archiving segments

Archiving segments is a DailyStory system function. The system automatically archives a dynamic segment when it has not been used by any active campaign or updated in over 90 days. Filter your segments, and then select Archive to view your archived segments list.

Restoring archived segments

To restore an archived segment, open the segment’s edit page, and then switch its status to On. Save the changes. The system effectively moves the segment back to the Active Segments page.

A segment's archive status is set by the system, not the user. Archiving happens automatically by the system when a segment has not been used in over 90 days. When a segment is placed in archive status it is paused and will no longer dynamically update or be accessible to any campaigns.
