SMS Links with Restricted Content

When the Text Message Deliverability Score analyzes your content it examines the content found at any URLs included in your text message. Carriers will block text messages if the URLs contain restricted content.

If the URL contained in your text message contains restricted content you will receive a warning stating that restricted content was found at the URL with examples of the restricted content that was found.

Domains that contain restricted content are forced to use a one-time verification code prior to navigating to the destination URL.

One-time verification code

Here's how it works:

1. When your message gets sent to a contact, the contact will receive your text message with your shortened (trackable) URL link.

2. Once they click on the link in the URL, he/she will be directed to a page with your company logo, 6-box form, and prompt that says Please enter the pin code to verify your account:

3. At the same time, a 6-digit code will be sent to their phone from a different number supplied by and paid for by DailyStory. You are not charged for the verification code text.

4. Once the contact enters the code, they will be directed to your intended URL in the text.
