How to integrate Yotpo and DailyStory
Yotpo integration with DailyStory requires several steps.
- Yotpo API key and Guid
First, you'll need to obtain your Yotpo API key and Guid. Follow these steps to retrieve these for your Yotpo account.
- Enable integration in DailyStory
Navigation to Account Settings > Integrations and select Yotpo. Enter the Guid and API key obtained in step 1 and click the "Save" button

Congratulations. Yotpo integration is now successfully configured! Data will begin importing into DailyStory from Yotpo.
Yotpo Sync
Once Yotpo integration is enabled, DailyStory:
- Automatically syncs customer data from Yotpo - DailyStory automatically begins syncing your customer data from Yotpo into DailyStory. This includes standard customer details such as first and last name, email address and more. But also includes Yotpo specific data such as: point balance, point expiration data, and more. Sync runs once every 4 hours.
- Enables Yotpo specific customer segments - use customer data from Yotpo to build segments. These segments will automatically stay up-to-date as data in Yotpo changes.
- Enables Yotpo specific automations - automations, such as customer recognition for aware levels are easily enabled.
Fields synced from Yotpo
When Yotpo integration is enabled DailyStory automatically syncs data from Yotpo.
RecommendedYotpo sync is one directional from Yotpo to DailyStory. Data from Yotpo will always be considered the "source of truth".
Standard fields
DailyStory will sync the following standard fields from Yotpo: first name, last name, email, address and phone number.
Yotpo specific fields
In addition to standard fields, the following Yotpo specific fields are synced. These fields are used for personalizing content, running automations, or building segments.

Perks Redeemed | The number of perks the customer has redeemed. Accessible in personalization as profile.yp_perksredeemed . |
Points Earned | Total number of points the customer has earned. Accessible in personalization as profile.yp_pointsearned . |
Point Expiration Date | The date points expire. Accessible in personalization as profile.yp_pointsexpire . |
