Agentic Credits
Agentic credits pay for work the DailyStory agent does for you. For example, when you use Import with AI to bring an existing email or landing page into DailyStory, the agent rebuilds it as an editable DailyStory asset and the work is paid for in agentic credits. Every DailyStory account has agentic credits; there is nothing to turn on.
What the agent's work costs

Credits are taken when the work starts and given back automatically if the agent can't start or can't finish, so you only pay for emails and pages that are created. The Import with AI window shows what the work will use and how many credits you have before you start.
Each user can run Import with AI up to 25 times a day.
Credits included with your plan
- Paid plans include 200 agentic credits each month.
- Free and trial plans don't include monthly credits. You can still buy credits once you have a card on file.
Included credits are added on the first day you use them each month. Unused included credits expire at the end of the month and don't roll over.
See your balance
Go to Account Settings > Usage and scroll to Agentic Credits. See Understanding Plan Usage for the rest of the page.
- Included, left this month: included credits you haven't used yet this month.
- Purchased: credits you bought that you haven't used yet.
- Available: everything you can use now, included and purchased together.
Included credits are always used first. Purchased credits are used only once this month's included credits run out, and they never expire.
Buy agentic credits
Account administrators can buy credits on the card on file:
- Go to Account Settings > Usage.
- Under Agentic Credits, click Buy Agentic Credits.
- Choose a pack and click Purchase. The credits are added to your Purchased balance straight away.
Agentic credits are $0.05 each and come in packs:

If your account has no card on file, the Usage page asks you to add one under Billing first. Accounts billed through Shopify can't buy agentic credits in DailyStory yet; contact DailyStory support.
Turn on auto-refill
With auto-refill on, DailyStory buys the pack you choose on your card on file whenever your agentic credits run low, so Import with AI never stops for want of credits.
- Go to Account Settings > Usage and find Agentic Credits Auto-Refill.
- Choose the pack to buy and turn the switch on.
Auto-refill buys a pack when your balance falls below 100 credits. If the card is declined, DailyStory turns auto-refill off and emails your account owner; turn it back on once the card is updated.
How agentic credits compare to text message credits
Agentic credits are separate from text message credits and can't be used for text messages, or the other way round. Like text message credits, purchased agentic credits never expire and monthly included credits do.
AI assistants connected through MCP
Agentic credits pay only for the DailyStory agent. AI assistants you connect to DailyStory with MCP don't use agentic credits; their work is part of your plan with that assistant.
