Contacts may not show up in your segment for several reasons.
Contacts cannot be manually removed from a dynamic segment. The only way to remove contacts from a dynamic segment is to update the search criteria to be more specific, effectively excluding contacts that don’t meet the specific criteria.
To send an email to a specific segment, edit the email in the campaign, and then use the scheduler. The scheduler provides the option of selecting specific segments as the asset’s recipients.
When a segment is disabled, its status becomes “paused” and is moved to the Paused Segments bin. If the disabled segment is a dynamic segment, it automatically stops updating itself unless it is re-enabled.
Yes, but the copy option is only available for Dynamic segments. Manually created segments or special system segments cannot be copied.
If a segment remains inactive for over 90 days, the system will automatically archive it. You can find archived segments in the Archive bin. Open the main Segments hamburger menu, and then select Archive.
You can find disabled or archived segments using the filtering options when viewing the list of all segments.
