The American Shaman Feathers integration with DailyStory will require several steps.

  1. American Shaman franchise owners are required to reach out to their association or corporate point of contact to start the integration process. If you are unsure of who that is, you can contact us for help.
  2. You will be sent a special sign-up link for your store to receive the special franchisee pricing.
  3. Create a DailyStory account through your special sign-up link.
  4. You will receive a series of welcome emails and steps from the DailyStory and American Shaman teams.
  5. DailyStory will obtain your American Shaman Feathers API key from corporate and enter it into the configuration screen for you so that your data will begin syncing.

American Shaman Feathers Sync

Once the American Shaman Feathers integration is enabled, DailyStory:

  • Automatically syncs customer data from American Shaman Feathers: DailyStory automatically begins syncing your customer data from American Shaman Feathers into DailyStory. This includes standard customer details, such as first and last name, email address, mobile number and more. But also includes American Shaman Feathers specific data, such as store, points, growth tier, total orders, total sales, first order date, last order date and promotions.
  • Automatically uploads American Shaman specific campaigns As part of the franchise owner welcome package, 6 pre-built campaigns are uploaded to your account, including: Anniversary, Feather Rewards, First Purchase, Weekly Promotions Starter Campaign, New Customer Welcome, and Win Back.
  • Enables American Shaman specific customer segments: Use customer data from American Shaman Feathers to build segments. These segments will automatically stay up-to-date as data in your point of sale system changes.
  • Enables American Shaman specific automations: Automations, such as new customer welcome, anniversary promotions, win back, rewards, first purchase, and more are easily enabled.

Fields synced from American Shaman Feathers

When American Shaman Feathers integration is enabled, DailyStory automatically syncs data from the Feathers point of sale system.

American Shaman Feathers sync is one directional from Feathers to DailyStory. Data from Feathers will always be considered the "source of truth."

Standard fields

DailyStory will sync the following standard fields from American Shaman Feathers: first name, last name, email, mobile number, address, city, state, postal code and birthdate. DailyStory also will automatically geocode (calculate the latitude and longitude) of the contact record.

In addition to standard fields, the following American Shaman Feathers-specific fields are synced. These fields are used for personalizing content, running automations or building segments.

The total number of loyatly points in Feathers. Accessible in personalization as profile.as_points.

Growth Tier

Growth Tier level based on number of loyalty points. Accessible in personalization as profile.as_growth_tier.

Growth Reward

Accessible in personalization as profile.as_growth_reward.

Total Orders

Total number of orders for the customer record. Accessible in personalization as profile.total_orders.

Total Sales

Total sum in dollars for orders for the customer record. Accessible in personalization as profile.as_total_sales.

Last Order

Date of their last order. Accessible in personalization as profile.as_last_order.

Categories

Categories of products purchased by the customer. Accessible in personalization as profile.as_categories.

First Order Date

Date customer first made a purchase in the Feathers system. Accessible in personalization as profile.as_first_order_date.

Last Order Date

Date customer last made a purchase in the Feathers system. Accessible in personalization as profile.as_last_order_date.

Promo Code

Accessible in personalization as profile.as_promo.

Redeemed Promo Code

Accessible in personalization as profile.as_redeemed_promo.
