Recreate an Existing Landing Page with Import with AI
You can start a DailyStory landing page from one you already have: a page on your website, a page built in another tool, or one a designer sent you. Give Import with AI the page's address, or the page saved as a file, and the DailyStory agent rebuilds it as a draft DailyStory landing page you can review and publish.
Import with AI uses agentic credits: 50 credits for each page, given back if the agent can't finish.
Import a page
- Go to Inbound > Landing Pages and click Import with AI in the left menu, just below Create Landing Page.
- Choose where the page is:
Its web address: paste the page's address, for example https://www.example.com/spring-sale.
A page I saved: upload an .html file, or a .zip of the page with its images.
- Optionally, tell the agent what to change, for example "Use our brand colors, and replace the form with our newsletter sign-up."
- Check the credits line, then click Build page.
- The agent usually takes 1 to 3 minutes. You can close the window; the page appears in your landing pages as a draft when it's ready.
- When it's done, review the agent's notes on what it changed or couldn't carry over, then click Open the page.
The page is created as a draft. Nothing is public until you publish it. See Creating or Editing a Landing Page.
Pages DailyStory can't read from their address
For a page behind a login, or one DailyStory can't load from its address, save it from your browser instead:
- Open the page and choose File > Save Page As, with the format set to Webpage, Complete.
- Zip the .html file together with the folder your browser saved beside it.
- Upload the .zip with A page I saved.
Uploads can be up to 50 MB.
What changes when the agent rebuilds a page
- Images are saved to File Manager and the page points at the stored copies. An image that couldn't be downloaded is replaced with a placeholder for you to swap.
- Scripts from the original are removed. The agent rebuilds what they did in plain HTML and CSS where it can, and its notes say what it couldn't.
- Forms are rebuilt as DailyStory web forms so submissions come into DailyStory. See Adding a Form to a Landing Page.
- Content: the wording, links, layout and colors are kept unless you ask for changes.
To change the page afterwards, see Editing a Landing Page's HTML and CSS.
Use pages you have the right to reuse
Recreate your own pages, or ones you have permission to use. If you give the agent another company's page, it builds an original page in a similar layout using your brand and content rather than copying theirs.
